What does an IGI report include?

Shape and measurements, carat weight, colour and clarity grades, cut, polish and symmetry, fluorescence, the growth method where stated, and the report number, which you can match to the girdle inscription.

Grading reports explained

IGI or GIA for a lab-grown diamond?

Both are independent and internationally recognised, and both state origin. IGI grades the majority of lab-grown diamonds. What matters is that the report is independent and matches the diamond.

Is an IGI report enough to choose a diamond?

No. A report records grades, not beauty. We select lab-grown diamonds for visual performance and encourage you to compare them side by side.
