What information do we collect?
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number and delivery address
- Enquiry details: the piece, diamond, budget, dates and messages you send us
- Purchase, repair and aftercare records
- Website usage data from analytics, such as pages viewed and device type
How do we collect it?
When you complete the contact or quote form, email or call us, visit the showroom, or buy from us. Website forms send your enquiry by email to info@ctj.com.au. If an email can’t be delivered, the enquiry is kept in a secure file on our web server, outside the public website, so it isn’t lost.
How do we use it?
To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes, make and deliver your jewellery, provide warranty and aftercare, keep records required by law, and improve our website and service. We only send marketing if you ask to receive it, and you can opt out at any time.
Who do we share it with?
Only with service providers who help us run the business, such as our website host, email provider, analytics provider, couriers for delivery, and manufacturing partners where needed to make your piece. We don’t sell or rent your personal information.
How do we protect it?
Our website uses HTTPS. The enquiry form checks and limits submissions to block spam, stores visitor IP addresses only as a one-way hash for rate limiting, and never exposes mail passwords to the browser. Access to customer records is limited to our team.
Do you use cookies or analytics?
We use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used, such as which pages are read and whether forms are sent. It uses cookies and doesn’t tell us who you are. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
How can I access or correct my information?
Email info@ctj.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time and correct anything that is inaccurate.
How do I make a complaint?
Contact us first at info@ctj.com.au or 07 5538 3988 and we will try to resolve it. If you’re not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
