Plating, polishing, re-tipping and stone replacement typically take 2 to 7 business days. Complex work or sourced parts take longer.

For jewellery bought from CTJ, ultrasonic cleaning with a jeweller’s inspection is complimentary.

Do you repair pieces bought elsewhere?

Yes, we assess and quote most fine jewellery.

Do I get a price before work starts?

Yes. Every repair is quoted after assessment, and the estimate is given before any work begins.

Which repairs do you handle?

Claw rebuilding and re-tipping, stone replacement, polishing, rhodium plating, chain repairs, resizing and general jewellery repairs. We don’t repair or service watches.

When does jewellery need repair?

Signs include loose or catching claws, a stone that moves, thin or cracked bands, and worn plating on white gold. An inspection at least every 12 months catches wear early.

Do you repair watches?
