Who are we?

CTJ Jewellery PTY LTD (ABN 17 135 322 422), trading as CTJ Jewellery and CTJ Diamonds and Jewellery, 37 Upton Street, Bundall QLD 4217. Phone 07 5538 3988, email info@ctj.com.au. By using this website or buying from us, you agree to these terms.

How do quotes and orders work?

Loose diamonds, custom pieces, repairs and resizing are quoted individually, based on the diamond, metal and design you choose. Starting prices on this website are a guide. An order is confirmed when we accept it in writing and receive any agreed deposit or payment.

What applies to custom-made jewellery?

Custom pieces are made to your specification. Before manufacture we confirm the design, diamond, metal and size with you, with CAD where the piece needs it. Because they are made for you, custom pieces are not eligible for refund, exchange or store credit, except where the Australian Consumer Law requires a remedy.

How does delivery work?

In-stock items are prepared for dispatch from our Gold Coast showroom within 1 to 3 business days. Australian orders are sent by Australia Post Express with tracking, transit insurance and signature on delivery. Delivery times from Australia Post are estimates. You can also collect from the showroom. Full details: shipping and returns.

Can I return a purchase?

Change-of-mind purchases are not eligible for a refund. Eligible Showroom Collection items can be returned within 14 days of delivery for store credit, less a $150 restocking fee. Items must be unworn, in original condition, with proof of purchase, original packaging and any documentation.

Resized, modified, customised or special-order items are not eligible for exchange or store credit. Return shipping and transit insurance are your responsibility, and items remain your responsibility until we receive them. Store credit is valid for 12 months and is issued to the original purchaser.

What does the warranty cover?

Jewellery bought from or made by CTJ Jewellery carries a manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover general wear and tear, accidental damage, loss or theft, misuse or neglect, alterations or repairs by others, or normal wear of claws, settings and metal over time. Details: care and warranty.

How do repairs work?

Repairs and resizing are quoted after we assess the piece, and the estimate is given before any work begins. Timeframes depend on the work and on any parts that need to be sourced.

Who owns the content on this website?

The text, images and design of this website belong to CTJ Jewellery or are used with permission. You may quote short extracts with a link to the source page. Please don’t copy whole pages or images without asking us.

What are my rights under Australian Consumer Law?

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For a major failure, you are entitled to a replacement or refund and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Our warranty operates in addition to these rights.

How do I contact you about these terms?

Email info@ctj.com.au, call 07 5538 3988 or visit the showroom. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed.
